We are learning all about Peru this week!  Since one of our elementary teachers just recentlty took a trip to Peru, she graciously allowed us to use some of her beautiful photos for our book.  We found out some really cool information about the country!  We found out that potatoes were created there, that half of Peru is covered by the Amazon Rainforest, and that some of the world’s finest cottons are grown there.  One of our students is dressed as a native Peruvian on the front of the book.  The back picture is a picture of TRUE Peruvians along with our awesome Ms. Maria!  Read the book to find out some more!
